What if you need it longer: how extending your storage period works

Flexibility with Vora doesn’t stop on the day you place your storage order. It’s common for the period you originally picked to simply not be enough — a move gets delayed, a project runs long, or your seasonal gear needs to stay tucked away a little longer. That’s exactly what period extension is for.
How to start it
In the My Orders section, every package that’s currently in storage has an Extend button next to the return button (available only while the package is actually stored — not while it’s in transit or waiting for pickup). You pick a new end date, review the estimated price for the extension, and confirm payment. After that, you’re done — no new pickup, no repacking, and your package stays exactly where it is.
No cap on how long
The new date has to be after your current end date — so extension always moves forward, never back. But there’s no upper limit on how far you can extend: whether you need an extra week or several more months, the process is the same. If you need a shorter period instead, requesting a return at any time is always an option.
You only pay for the extra days
The extension price is calculated proportionally — by the number of additional days, at the same rate your original order was billed at. You don’t pay the full price again or a new flat fee; you pay the difference for the period you’re adding.
Why this matters
Classic storage often requires you to estimate exactly how much space and how much time you’ll need upfront, and penalizes you if you guess wrong. Vora solves that by making an extension just as easy as the original order — a few taps in the app, no waiting and no need to arrange another courier.
